Candidates can choose to take the MSP® Re-registration exam paper based or computer based exam.

All MSP® Practitioners who want to retain the accreditation are required to sit an additional re-registration examination within three to five years of your original certification.
In order to sit the MSP® Re-registration examination, you must provide proof of having passed MSP® Foundation and Practitioner exam.

MSP Foundation is lifelong valid while MSP Practitioner needs to be renewed every 3 to 5 years. The candidate needs to renew their Practitioner certificate within this time period.

MSP Practitioner needs to be renewed every 5 years to keep it valid. The Practitioner re-registration exam has a different exam pattern. Once you pass this exam the Practitioner certificate renews for another 5 years.
